Colley Bailey, Matt Mercer, Ace Marrero Film Filter: On- For his college thesis paper, James has set out to find an author in Madison County so he can interview him. The author's book spills details on the brutal murders that took place in the rural county over a decade ago. In attempts to make the trip enjoyable, James invites a group of friends to take the half-day trip with him, but the pleasure trip takes a turn for the worse. James desperately wants to know the truth about Madison County, but the longer they stay and the more they find out, the fewer of them remain.
Things to note: Great novice cast, decent characterization, some predictable moments, frustrating character situations, most of the movie takes place in broad daylight, little background information given on the killer
